Is JD 540 disk to big for JD 4600

I have a new JD 4600 and love it. I have the chance to by a near new JD 540 disk (hooks to the 3-pt). Is my 4600 big enough?

Bob, Just sold a 620 disk to a 4600 customer, it was only 7'9" with 7.5" spacings, he walks the dog with it, be cautious of much bigger, it would be worth trying out one time before you buy it. ....
